The 132-50P is the newest addition to our line of tools. The body of this tool is precisely constructed using 410 Wear Resistant Stainless Steel. This plane features a unique surface texture on the interior of the sole plate that resembles the pattern in tweed fabric and therefore we call this pattern "Stainless Tweed". The rear tote is attached to the body of the plane with no visible fasteners which gives this tool a very clean and concise appearance. The iron is bedded at 50 degrees and fits quite precisely on the bed angle section of the sole and a brass seat located directly under the iron at the point where the lever cap screw makes contact with the iron. The fit and finish on this tool is precise and the result is a tool that performs at a level that has to be experienced to be appreciated.
