These planes are the newest additions to our line of tools. The body of these tools is precisely constructed using 410 Wear Resistant Stainless Steel. The rear tote and knob is attached to the body of the plane with no visible fasteners which gives this tool a very clean and concise appearance. The iron is bedded at 50 degrees and fits quite precisely on the bed angle section of the sole and a brass seat located directly under the iron at the point where the lever cap screw makes contact with the iron. The fit and finish on this tool is precise and the result is a tool that performs at a level that has to be experienced to be appreciated.
The 812-50S is a mid size plane that has sole length of 8.00 " This plane uses an 0-1 iron that is 7/32 thick and 1.875 wide. The total weight on this plane is 4 lbs. 4 ozs. It works well as a panel smoother as well as being a nice size tool for working edges.

The 912-50S is a full size smoothing plane. The sole is 9.125" in length and it uses a 7/32 thick 0-1 iron that is 2.125" wide. The total weight is a very well balanced 6 lbs.

The 132-50P Panel plane has a sole length of 13.25", uses 7/32 thick x 2.25" wide plane iron. Total weight is approximately 7.5 lbs. This plane is capable of some jointing work as well as flattening panels and producing a smoothing plane quality surface in the process. Those that like a 5 1/2 size plane will love this tool.

Due to issues with equipment and tooling we have discontinued the stainless tweed pattern on the interior surface of the soles of these planes. They will now be supplied with a ground surface on the interior of the sole.
